Case Study: UK Oil Storage

The Oikos storage facility on the River Thames near London was constructed originally in 1936. A large Australian financial conglomerate contacted PDC to carry out a technical and environment due diligence study of the facility in 2006. The facility consists of more than 100 tanks with a capacity of 300,000 m3 as well as a jetty. PDC appointed RAW Consulting to provide assistance in the environmental due diligence.

The project was completed in a very short three month period and the Client purchased 50% of the facility in 2007 with an option to purchase the remaining 50% in 2008.
