Upstream Integrated Teams
PDC has combined a team of geoscientists, reservoir engineers, petroleum engineers and petrophysicists into integrated teams to work on the subsurface needs of our clients.
PDC Approach
From the moment a client makes available the data for the project – seismic, well and reservoir data, a team of reservoir, petroleum engineers, geoscientists, and petrophysicists begin to interpret the data to build a complete understanding of the subsurface. This results in the creation of a static model.
With continued input from the geoscientists and petrophysicists a dynamic reservoir model is composed by the reservoir engineer.
Crossing Professional Boundaries
PDC prides itself that its staff have knowledge of the various disciplines within the integrated team to be able to do some of the tasks which may required by other participants using the appropriate tools to do whatever the job requires.
Constant Feedback
PDC strives to constantly keep clients in touch with the developments on projects. Peer group meetings are held regularly to highlight the progress of a project and take in input from the client. Peer group meetings take place both at the PDC offices and at the clients offices.
Internally, PDC holds regular in-house meetings within the teams to ensure that a project is progressing smoothly and that any issues are being addressed.
Software
PDC uses the latest industry software from Petrel to Eclipse. Our staff are sent on regular training courses to ensure that they have the knowledge to maintain the highest standards and keep in touch with the latest techniques being used in the industry.
