PDC has been awarded a contract with a private oil and gas company to provide a technical reserves report as part of a reserves-based lending project by a consortium of major European banks.

PDC participates in EAPC'09

David Aron, PDC's Managing Director, took part in the 4th East African Petroleum Conference 2009 (EAPC'09), whose theme was "Enhancing Exploration and Exploitation of Oil and Gas for sustainable Social and Economic Development" which took place in Mombasa, Kenya, from March 11th - 13th, 2009.  His talk: 'Development Planning: East Africa Oil & Gas' was part of the Oil and Natural Gas Developments section on Wednesday 11 March and covered the challenges posed for both operators and host governments when planning oil and gas developments.

PDC wins European Investment Bank Contract

PDC announces the signature of a key two year framework contract with the European Investment Bank. This will cover the provision of due diligence services regarding the appraisal and due diligence of investment projects in the oil & gas sector. Sub-sectors included are oil & gas production, transmission and distribution, above and underground storage, liquefied natural gas and oil refining. The first projects to be reviewed by PDC will be a number of gas storage projects vital to secure European gas supplies in the context of recent supply interruptions from Russia.

PDC wins Tanzania contract

PDC is pleased to announce that it has signed
a contract with the Tanzanian regulators EWURA
to provide consultancy services for the implementation of bulk procurement of petroleum products for the Tanzanian local market (see the EastAfrican Newspaper article here, the Tanzania DailyNews article here and Kenya's Sunday Nation article here).  The project will require PDC to identify possible alternatives of petroleum products bulk procurement, formulating possible finance mechanisms, determining tender packages and identifying role and obligation of different parties.  This award cements PDC’s reputation as a leading provider of services to state organisations globally and in East Africa in particular having worked with both the Ugandan and Kenyan governments.
