Regulation & Liberalisation

PDC has a long-term framework contract with the UK gas and electricity regulator, Ofgem. This covers gas transportation and distribution activities.

Examples of our work in regulation and liberalisation include:
 

• UK – Acted as technical advisor to Ofgem as part of the Price Control 2002-7 of Transco gas transportation and distribution. Currently technical advisor under a framework contract
• Croatia – Led World Bank project preparing tariffs for gas transportation, distribution and storage
• Pakistan – Carried out evaluation of gas transmission and distribution capital expenditure and benchmarking for Office of Gas and Oil Regulation
• Israel – Assisting the Natural Gas Authority on the development of the gas transportation and distribution industry
